Email Fundraising

Allegiant Direct believes it’s important to supplement, augment and complement your mail program with a digital component.

Many donors prefer to give through specific fundraising channels.

Some don't respond to mail, while others are skittish about online giving. Still others respond to both.

The best approach is to use mail and email together so donors have a choice of giving channels.

Typically, we recommend 2-3 emails connected to each appeal following the drop of those appeals. Someone who gives online or via email often has previously received something through postal mail.

We also recommend a quarterly stewardshp newsletter either in eNews or printed format.

A series of 2 - 3 emails at year-end around December 29 - 31 focusing on acquiring year-end gifts is also a good idea. These year-end emails are usually more effective than emails sent during other times of the year.
